Best event I have attended in many years

I am not sure how many people can say this about a meeting! But the Microsoft company meeting yesterday was one of the best events I have seen in my whole life.  If you look at it, it was just a meeting. But it was held in a baseball stadium, where about 15,000 employees showed up! Each group had its own theme. The energy was amazing, the stage was superb and the meeting events were exceptionally well planned and immaculately executed.

I was expecting a bunch of boring speeches and I was totally wrong. It was a mix of entertaining music performances, some very enterntaining ads, informative and uplifting speeches and stunning demos of the upcoming and futuristic products! When Bill Gates walked on the stage he got a 60-80 second standing ovation. Absolute reverance for the man. And as far as Steve Ballmer goes – he is probably the most energetic person I have seen in my whole life. It was a very powerful experience. I guess, I can dare to say now that I am proud, I work for Microsoft!
